I have been thinking about this for a while now. So I did some research. I am sure I am not the only one who has asked this question. So, how can I make money online? This is what I found.
I'm not saying quit your job. But here are a few ideas to help you get paid through extra work online (links provided to get to each site mentioned):
1. Get paid to browse ads
clixsense - this site pays you for clicking on ads as well as for referrals. Sign up is free, you have an option to ugrade your account if you wish but you get paid on the free account as well.
2. Affiliate marketing
Here you get paid by helping other promote their products or services. All you need to do is add affiliate banners or links to your website and you get paid when others click on those banners/links. Amounts differ depending on the affiliate.
Good examples are OfferForge and Trafficsynergy. The most popular is probably Google Adsense. Setting up accounts are free and easy.
3. Selling online
There are many sites that allow you to sell items online. You probably know about Ebay. There are many others just a google search away such as Amazon , Ubid and AuctionFire. South Africans can enjoy BidorBuy.
4. Start your own website
There are many ways to start your own website and it doesn't have to cost you a cent. From Blogs, to Myspace pages to D.I.Y.
For D.I.Y. there are programs available online for design, publishing and building of your own website. ixwebhosting is a good start. Remember to choose a good domain name and have it registered. If you don't like the D.I.Y. idea you can pay someone to start a website up for you. Some more tools to help - free templates, weebly free web site creation, and wix.com
5. Online surveys
There are several sites that ask for money. I don't trust anyone that asks for money online so I suggest this one as it's free to join, surveysavvy.com
